SmartWater was the first Laboratory-identifiable forensic code and forensic marking product with a grade A rating under British Standards Institution PAS 820:2012.
This Publicly Available Specification (PAS) has been developed by the British Standards Institution with the aim of overcoming the difficulties faced by purchasers when assessing the length of time a forensic code will continue to be identifiable.
The grade A rating means that the forensic codes used in SmartWater will remain identifiable for a minimum of 5 years when used either internally or externally.
This relates specifically to the installation and maintenance of our Forensic Spray Systems.
SAFEcontractor provides evidence that our engineers consistently exceed our relevant legal requirements and demonstrate competence in conforming to Health and Safety guidelines within the workplace.
Altius Assured Vendor
The award-winning Altius Vendor Assessment provides complete assurance that SmartWater has all the necessary health and safety systems, insurance coverage, and other requirements in place to be a competent supplier to large corporate customers.
The Assessment helps companies to assess, improve, monitor and assure their supply base – to reduce their risk and liability and increase performance. The robust online supplier accreditation and management system takes a thorough evidence-based approach to checking the competences and financial health of suppliers.
Achilles RISQS is the community that supports the UK rail industry’s pre-qualification scheme and is recognised as best practice in qualifying suppliers.
In order to reach this accreditation, Achilles use the RISQS scheme to perform a thorough audit and review of the company and inspects the quality, safety and environmental management systems implemented by the Company.
Link-up certification demonstrates SmartWater's ability to meet rail industry requirements and enables us to showcase our extensive services and experience to rail industry organisations in the UK.
The accreditation allows SmartWater Technology to pre-qualify as an approved supplier to the utilities sector - a process that makes it easier for companies in the sector to manage their supply chain risks and to comply with EU procurement regulations.
The accreditation was granted on the basis of a rigorous independent audit of our Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.
